Dr. Steve Shires – Founder of PPP and Principle Consultant.
Steve has spent the last 25 years in research, development, regulatory and marketing positions in European and US multinational agchem companies. He has expert knowledge of the European plant protection business plus extensive hands-on experience of regulatory affairs, product development, market opportunity analysis and distributor selection. Steve, having established the company, Plant Protection Projects SARL in 2001, now contributes as the Senior Consultant of the group as well as being a key player in the larger Agchem Project Consulting (APC) network.

Dr. Jean-Pierre Laffranque – Senior Consultant specialising in Product Development
Jean Pierre is an entomologist with 25 years experience working in major European and US agchem companies. He has an outstanding knowledge of all crop protection issues, including research compound screening, product development, technical support and promotion. He also has considerable hands-on experience with marketing issues, especially product positioning, opportunity analysis and distributor evaluation.

Dr. Sylvie Oudar – Senior Consultant specialising in Regulatory Affairs and Risk Assessment
Sylvie is a professional toxicologist/phamacologist with 16 years experience in the Agrochemical Industry, working for both national and multinational companies in Regulatory Affairs. She has extensive experience of the EU registration system, advising clients on regulatory strategy, preparing Annex II and Annex III dossiers as well as monitoring regulatory studies. She has been particularly active in the area of Risk Assessments using established models to assess operator and consumer exposure as well as e-fate and ecotox evaluations.

Laurence Guillosson – Senior Consultant specialising in Product Registrations
Laurence is a chemist by profession and has 8 years experience working in laboratories and Regulatory Affairs groups for both a large European pesticide producer and more recently as an independent consultant closely affiliated with PPP. She is bilingual French and English and has now gained considerable experience working with the registration authorities in France, UK and other European countries.

Dr Marie-Noêlle Douaiher – Registration Specialist
Marie-Noêlle is a biologist with practical experience of the AgChem industry, gained during her undergraduate placements in the Lebanon. She received her PhD in phyto-pathology in France, where her research work was focused on cereal diseases. Since joining PPP, she has been involved in a wide range of projects, including Annex III dossiers, generic registrations and study management. Her main focus for future specialisation is in ecotoxicology and project management. Marie-Noêlle is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
Myra Shires – Office Manager & Secretarial Support
Myra keeps the office working smoothly and efficiently by providing administrative support, managing communications and organising travel and meetings for both PPP staff and clients.
